  • Needs

To give a home to mentally challenged children where they are endowed with abundant love and attention they rightfully deserve.

Vision :

Most of the inmates are left here by their parents who think of them as a burden while few of them are left for medication. They are so dependent on help from others that they require someone to monitor their daily activities.

The institute was founded by Mrs. Banda Ramaleela who herself is a mother of two mentally challenged kids.

Once Mrs. B. Ramaleela met a parent of mentally challenged children at a function. She was surprised when she came to know that there are so many such children in Warangal, and the parents were suffering due to lack of Special School and Lack of Proper Hostel facility. To confirm this, she conducted a door-to-door survey. In 2000, she formed a Society along with her friends Mrs. P. Bhagya Lakshmi, (also completed
Special Diploma Course), Mr. A. Sivannarayana (Advocate) and included many officials of Warangal City as Members. Accordingly the society has decided to start a Special School with free Hostel and Transportation facility.
